great little hardware store
A good "HOMETOWN" store -always good service - huge quality inventory . Paint, hardware and great folks . Easy parking too! and you don't need to walk a mile to find anything like big box stores.
I was able to purchase a propane tank and have it filled at the Wildwood Ace Hardware. The staff there was very helpful and they had a wide variety of products throughout the store. It is much closer to go to this hardware store than Lowes or Home Depot from the southern parts of The Villages.
There are several Ace Hardware stores (two IN The Villages and several a few miles outside) in this area. I just called the one on Rt.301 in Wildwood about dimmable CFL flood lights (the two in The Villages had none in stock). The gentleman I spoke with went beyond the "call of duty" to check stock, locate the bulbs I needed, and put them "aside," even though I can't pick them up until tomorrow morning.
They were knowledgable and helpful
It is an extremely well-stocked store and the above incident means I'll drive a bit further to give them my business ...
